Taipei Easy GO-Xi Men Ding

Yeah, finally back from Taipei last friday. I almost miss my flight from A/S-KL, it such a terrible experience!!! I wont elaborate here, forget it. I finally arrived there safely, yay..
Before go Taipei, 1 thing that you have to make sure is whether you visit there is for shopping purpose or visit the tourism place. But my 4d3n trip is for shopping trip, so pick to stay at XMD area, keke..
My main purpose is to visit Wu Fen Pu Wholesale market & Shilin Night Market

Once you arrived airport, remember to grab some free maps..Pls do not take those with full of ad brochure, although it may included some map, but not that useful enough. If you go there for free and easy or budget traveler, pls choose the Taipei Metro brochure, i got 1 in English version, and also pick 1 Taipei City Maps with Chinese version.

The place i stayed is Xi Men Ding Area (西门町), which is near to metro station and with thousand of shop lots. Shop open from 11am-12pm
Distance from Tao Yuan Int Airport: 40mins by Taxi
Price: TWB1200 for 3 person, yellow taxi
You may choose other option such as shuttle bus, but it takes longer time to arrive although is cheaper. I don't want to waste time find the shuttle bus service, so prefer take taxi.

Xi Men Ding Walking Street (This is small part only)

At Xi Men Ding, there are many shops such as clothing shop, women accessories, outlet, Starbucks, KFC, McD, Watson, 7/11..........
I do not recommend you buy any clothing here from boutique shop, because it cost more expensive. But for women accessories, such as earrings, bracelet & etc, you can buy it here, but must compare price for few shops, you may found that 1 massage comb selling at TWB50, but at next few shop, same comb just cost TWB25 only, earrings 3 for TWB100, but at another shop just cost TWB25 each set...so must think before you buy.

You can find a lot of restaurants that selling variety choices of food. But if you prefer more traditional local food, you have to walk further, far from the centre. Many small stall selling traditional food at cheaper price.

Restaurant selling food at more higher price, exp: a bowl of XXX noddle at TWB100-160, which is really not cheap. But if you still want to eat some food in more clean, comfy area, but at cheaper price, i recommend you go the underground food court next to the XMD Cinema, they sell set meal at competitive price at TWB99 or TWB100 only, cheap right.

Set meal of Deep fried pork chop and small steamboat, w 1 bowl of white rice, cost TWB99 only. If you'r not a glutton, 2 person can share 1 set meal.

At end of the road side (still is XMD area), there are all food stall and restaurant selling at quite cheap price. Such as..small steamboat restaurant

1 set of steamboat include 1 rice, the cheapest cost TWB70, we ordered 2 diff flavour, the picture shown is chicken drop in the soup (落汤鸡) steamboat @TWB70, and another 1 is vege smelly tofu steamboat @ TWB80.

The palm size bowl, recycle bowl. Besides that, it included free drink too, self-service w unlimited refill!!! 3 of us just ordered 2 sets, total cost TWB150 only!!

Before got Taipei, i always saw Astro HHD channel intro many Taiwan food, there are few must try food such as...

Pearl Milk Tea (珍珠奶茶)

Of course this one Malaysia have too, but still want to give a try...yummy..and also ice kacang..great for summer!!

Mum ordered mix nuts ice @ TWB60, mine one is MJ mix w Yam @TWB35 (close up photo: yellow and white one is 粉圆 made by Yam, taste QQ, nice to chew)
Note that all the ice kacang here is very BIG BOWL!!....2-3 person can share 1 bowl...

Ok, that's all for XMD area, there a lots more food at outside area, i cant finish shop this area for 2 days!!...too big...

At late night start from 11pm, after all shop closed, there will be more small hawker stall come out the walking street selling local food, and also some clothing, accessories, just like small night market.

Next post i will intro Wu Fen Pu Wholesale Market, LongShan Temple, Taipei 101, Shilin Night Market and some other food.

My BAG Habits..

Bags oh bags...i never found myself so in love w BAGS...
Long time ago, i really don bother to carry what bags, as long as multifunction, comfortable not easy to get dirty and roomy.......until 1 day, my bf WP, asked a question
" Can you pls carry some bag that looks better?"....
i was like..what d ?????...i dont feel anything wrong w my bags lo...
and he said: " At least carry a bag that with more quality.......
I was feeling like lightening strike and heart-attacked...He is complaining about my bags....@.@

and from that time, i started put some attention on looking for nice bags...
and that was the time my first met with my COACH bag....
My very first Coach.....dunno is wat wat gallery tote..name very long

It was one of the popular model w the turnlock pocket at both left and right side (I mean that time). A customer help me purchased from New York when she when there to visit her relative...
This bag is really roomy, and i started love Coach bag quality and their design..
and when you got 1 nice bag, and you will keep on buying more and more....................
at the end, till today, i almost lost count..

Both of these can use as satchel and wear as shoulder style, the strap longer than top handle pouch. Especially sateen satchel, have 3 divider ( 2 w zipper, 1 magnetic button), and included COACH Charms.

But, for the top handle, i prefer a bit larger size w adjustable strap...

Wow, it has been too long no blogging...feeling that my blog is full of web (i mean spider web)..ahaha
After the Curse of June..(Finally ended!)...July is happy month for me :D..
What makes me happy?
I have met some good friend + good food...ahaha....that is nothing better than that, don't you guys think so?
Met up Anne before her big day (wedding), accompany her to pick the wedding gaun at Guang Yi, after that window shopping at Gurney...it has been N years never step in to Gurney...changed a LOT..and ofcourse the most important is EAT!!!...and we decided to eat at Sakae Sushi after finished pick the wedding gaun.

We both just like a hungry ghost, ordered a lot of foods.. we ordered some 'APPETIZER' such as teriyaki scallop, few plate of sushi-s and my fav chukakurage ..YUMMY

But the dining table is for 2 person, too small, so we have to finished the APPETIZER as fast as possible (actually we too hungry), because we both each ordered a bento lunch set, which need more space to serve both of these set on table.

Anne ordered bento lunch teriyaki chicken and salmon set, set included rice, cawanmushi, teriyaki chicken and salmon, and i ordered the premium bento xxx ( name too long) comes with a rice, a misso soup, deep fried chicken breast served w curry gravy, teriyaki salmon and mayonise SCALLOP!!...It such a huge set...but the price is still affordable, we both FINISHED all of these...really full..because both of us feeling full until want to vomit..so we decided to window shopping at Gurney...and that's y i saw d DKNY white silver tote bag in Parkson, :(

Yan supposed to join us together to pick wedding gaun for Anne, but she need to attend another dinner that time, so missed the dinner. But few days before Anne wed dinner, we met again, she stay overnight at my house. We both really can sleep for very long hour, the next day, woke up at around 12pm...and we decided to find something eat at Queensbay.

I intro her to the T.Bowl restaurant, which is just same level w the cinema. I never try before, just found this restaurant funny with full of toilet bowl deco and toilet related stuff.

And we both also very hungry too, so prefer to order some heavy meal.

We both really cannot survive without rice, especially when REALLY hungry..
Yan ordered a glass of Strawberry Yogurt (something like tat), it taste quite nice, not too sweet, a little bit of sour (which is from the yogurt) and a baked cheese spicy chicken rice served w T.Bowl
Mine one is the sour lemon plum drink...taste really nice, sweet and sour, makes me feel want to eat more food, and a taiwan 3 cups chicken rice (3杯鸡饭), taste nice too, but never try the real 3 cups chicken rice, going to try it next week. And also 1 side order, cheese baked scallop!!...the cheese not taste that heavy, we both like it..
2 meals quite huge size too..price is reasonable, i remember the scallop is cost around -RM9+ , still ok, and friendly waiter, but the most cute is the toilet bowl, haha..they have many size lo..
and after that, we 'lepak' at Queensbay.....cuz still early around 2pm something..
Nothing to do, i want to JUST WINDOW SHOPPING only lo cuz too full le..and then i saw Padini C.S have clearance sales~@.@.....how can i miss that le..Tops cheapest from less than RM10, and sales up to 70%! Econ bad so only can opt for clearance item lo...actually not very big fan too, tout to just go in kepo while......but at the end, i have spent RM100++ there....(+.+)"...

In case to avoid this happen again, so we decided to skip the window shopping, and go DOME to drink coffee.. but still too early for dinner...we both really nothing to do..and decided to watch movie, Ice Age 3 at 7.30pm....but time flies quite fast when we both chit chat kepo stuff...Ice Age 3 is really funny, we both laugh like siao lang....
After movie, then is time for dinner.. Yan like to eat Crab very much, since she is came from far way from Cameron, so i treated her some seafood at Red Bali Restaurant near my house..
From top to bottom is cereal prawn, stir fried scallop w XO sauce n brocolli, and lastly is Stir fried Kim Hiong Crab...just 2 of us finished all these 3...and it is huge portion..so we skip to eat rice...i like the scallop, it taste spicy one le..Yummy..

The Curse of June

I m back...empty post on MAY..because i was busy preparing to fight a WAR that coming on JUNE

For other ppl is Name of The Month..
or Name of a Person...
But for me, is Name of The Curse!!!
I hate June..It just like a curse for me..
When every year this month arrived..
Everything that normally works fine..all lost controls!!!
Everyday of this month, i just need to worry few things...
I hate to check the server connections every morning
I hate to check the printer connection every morning
I hate to check streamyx connection every morning
I hate to check y UBS suddenly smart lock
I hate to check y server suddenly shut down
I hate to install, uninstall software
Y this cannot connect that, that cannot link to this one, while A can link to B, but B cannot link to C, at the same time, B cant view C file, C cannot print at A.........!!
I have 6 PCs in office.......everyday have to make sure Server-A-B-C-D-E works properly ! I feel wanna burn them ALL..
I hate........................
All above issues works fine before JUNE!!
and after JUNE....
Every thing just back to NORMAL!!
So do you think, is that not a CURSE!!

and then, i have to always stay available like 7-11, to make sure all problems solved before start working!..Feeling like stay in jail......until July..
and JUNE always have a lot of functions, seminars to attend..
The worst one is i have to give up to attend a seminar with WP at JW Marriott this JUNE...errggg..Both of us totally don't have that extra USA time this month end..
This is the second year already..Although i missed it last year, but this year they also very kind to invite me again......I feel so hard to reply them with "Not able to attend AGAIN"

and then, this month weather is super HOT..like oven..
i m so no mood to do other thing after back home..
although i still have few travel plan coming..July, August, September..
but...not even manage to book any hotel yet...i think i have to just sleep at road side..

errg....something wrong with server AGAIN!!!

计划赶不上变化

此时此刻的我，应该是和WP庆祝他的生日，然后整理行李，21号走人去曼谷。
原本已决定了住在Khaosan，及打算去哪里走走看看。

自从合艾回来，就很忙碌。因为闷热的天气，让我的工作能力急速下降。
上个星期，红衫军大闹曼谷市时，心里就希望在去曼谷之前，一切都可以平息下来。后来平息了，心里还暗乐。但几天前，又发生了黄衫军领袖被暗杀事件，让我的心捏了一把冷汗（虽然以上的事，看起来不太关我事）。就这样让我要去旅行的心情大打折扣了。虽然这还不足够说服我打消旅行的念头。

但不管有多周详的计划，都赶不上突如其来的变化。

WP的叔叔得了末期肝癌，病情急速恶化。折腾了整个星期，终于在今天傍晚离开。
就这样，让所有计划泡汤。

经过了我的机会成本计算法（读过经济学的人都知道是什么吧），决定放弃了曼谷之旅。
这个星期，突然有更重要的事要完成。之前还在三心两意，还在想要不要延期。现在索性都放弃了，接下来都安排不到适当的时间出来，5，6，7月是黄金时刻，不方便离开。而且，旅行的意愿没那么的强了，虽然几百块就这样飞走，但感觉告诉我不太想完成这趟旅行，所以什么计划还是放弃了。让亚航赚到了。但做了这个决定之后，反而心情轻松了。
旅行很讲feel和mood，现在两样都没有，干脆都放弃了。

虽然下半年安排了到巴厘岛，曼谷，香港，广州旅行。看来计划满满的。
现在突然觉得，好像很遥远。

人生真的苦短，想完成的事情太多，能实现的事情太少。为自已和别人安排的计划，往往赶不上变化。

可能人都是贪心的吧。

曾经看到报纸报道，某某情侣计划几时共结连理，但其中一人就在意外中断送性命。
这真的是天意弄人吧！

从我一年安排两次旅行，增加到四次，还觉得不够。现在还想增加到了六次，是不是很贪心啊？
朋友问我，怎么不把赚到的钱存起来，买房子，投资等。老是去这边，去那边。
我说我都不缺这些东西。我也不想下半辈子成为债奴。存钱是好事，够用就好，我怕我以后没那个命去享受。拥有了物质，但要成为债奴，我是不会开心的。况且，物质是生不带来，死不带去的，拥有足够就够了。只有回忆，是属于自己的。

花钱就是我赚钱的动力，但在怎么努力都追不上时间。唯有增加旅行次数，这样，心情也好过点。因为以后会怎么样，连我自己都不知道。可能，我能为自己安排的，就只有这么多而已，很多事都是人算不如天算。

以前都会想，以后和WP的人生大计要怎么样，怎么样的。朋友问我，还会回答。
但现在，深入想想，很多东西，都不是掌握在手里。
终于明白为什么WP看待人生，可以那么的剔透。因为他都不会刻意去安排东西。
可能没计划，就不怕变化。

人生有很多不同的路可以选择
可以用很多不同的方法，过程去走这条路，
但兜来兜去，最后都是迈向一样的终点。

我不是刘伯温，没那么神机妙算的能算出会遇到什么变化。
既然人生是苦短（为什么不是乐长），我还是选择乐观的态度去面对，
见一步，走一步，珍惜拥有的一切及让人生更精彩。

旅行的际遇。。

昨天刚回来，原本打算写关于两天一夜合艾之旅。不过每次旅行回来都会有一种失落感。难以形容的感觉。

近几年来去过不少地方，见过不少事情，体会到很多事情。可是旅行让我最难忘的不是带回什么战利品，手信，或参观过什么地点，反而让我难忘的是，见过什么人，发生过什么事。

曾我有生之年，想把所记得的写下来，和大家分享。

我还记得第一次和WP去曼谷，在2007年的农历新年。
Check-in了酒店，吃了午餐后，就打算走走看看。
曼谷Tuk-Tuk车很多，有辆小Tuk-Tuk，司机很热心的邀请我们city tour ，两小时才5BTH，结果WP说去看看也不错，想兜看这个城市有什么地方可以去。
上了车子，他就开始带我们游街。然后先带我们去一间庙看看。
还以为是什么庙，原来是间很小间的破庙。当我们一走进是，就有个人过来叫我们购买香和花来拜拜。结果都被我们拒绝了。
而且也没什么人呢。我们也假假的走去庙里，用手拜拜。但是那个人还是纠缠我们买香拜拜，WP只好骗说，我们是拜耶稣的，只能用手拜拜，他听了，才肯罢休。（实在没办法才摆耶稣上台。。）

过后，当我们要离开时，又有一个人走过来WP旁边，也用手拜拜。然后很自然的和我们打招呼。以下是WP和那陌生人的对话：
陌：您好，你们也会来这里拜拜啊？
WP：您好，是TUK—TUK带我们来的。
陌：哦，那你们真幸运啊。你看到庙里的和尚吗在念经吗？其实今天是这间庙的纪念日，每三年才庆祝一次。我们是不可以进去拜拜的，只能在外面拜，因为那些和尚要念经，不能打扰。。

听到这里，我心想他以为我们是三八没见过庙和和尚，还有庙的庆典。

陌：你们既然到了，怎么不买点花和香来拜拜呢，才30BTH而已。

说道这里，我和WP就互打眼色了。

WP：不好意思，我们是基督教徒，用手拜拜一表心意就可以了。

陌：哦，原来如此。。。（过了几秒，在我们来不及离开时，又问我们）
你们是哪里来啊？

其实出门旅行，还蛮讨厌人家这样问。。心里在想干你屁事啊！

WP：我们是马来西亚来的。
陌：哦，马来西亚啊，很不错的地方啊，请问你是马来西亚哪个地方来的？

我的天啊，干嘛那么啰嗦啊，一定有目的的！

WP：是KUALA LUMPUR。

陌：KUALA LUMPUR是很美的城市啊

美个屁！我向WP我向打个眼色此地不宜久留，快走人。。

陌：哪请问你是做什么行业的？
WP：我是跑业务的。

说道这里，就知道WP要看他耍什么把戏。。

陌：哦，那么巧，我也是跑业务的。我是做珠宝行的。其实昨天才从英国做些买卖回来。

我心想，终于露出尾巴来了。

WP: 哦，珠宝行啊。。。。
陌：我是专门外面业务的。通常是做台下交易（under table)。我们所卖的都比市场便宜70-80%。

这时，他从口袋里拿出一张东西。

陌：看我们今天能再这里相遇，也算是我们有缘份啦。给你看看这个单据，是昨天有个客户的订单，原价是80，000BTH，打75%。

连骗人的道具都准备好。那单据还真的有模有样。

WP：。。。。哦，是啊
陌：我们卖的珠宝有如名牌设计的款式。。。。。。说出一大堆品牌（很卖利的介绍我们）
其实你们不要在那些店面买，因为一样的东西，价格贵很多。

那当然拉，你们都蛇鼠一窝嘛!

WP：不好意识，我们对这些珠宝没兴趣，而且也没有钱买啦。
陌：不要紧啦，我可以给你看看款式。

WP：真的不用了。。。
陌：没关系啦。。。。。。。

这时我就先离开了，然后还向WP招手快走。

就这样，我们涅把冷汗离开。。

这个骗子口操非常流利的英语，衣冠楚楚，斯斯文文的。看来他因该花了不少时间训练的吧。

我们上了车子，听到那个骗子向司机喊了几句泰语。

过后司机开车，我们就问他要带我们去哪里。。

他说带我们去一个BAZAAR，里面有卖很多好东西，现在又做大折扣，就只有三天而已。今天是最后一天了。。

我们都抱着很怀疑的心态。。。因为那个方向是向我们住的酒店附近。
而且我们吃午餐时都有在附近兜几圈了。只有看到一间黑店卖珠宝的，还有间高级酒楼，和玲玲碎碎的商店而已。

结果，他的车子在同个路口，兜了三次。以为我们都是路痴啊！。
就这样的停放我们在那间黑店。。。。
为什么我说是黑店，因为真的整间店的玻璃都是黑色的。根本看不到里面在干嘛。
司机很热情地叫我们进去，连门都打开给我们。
WP就说，进去演一出戏就走人吧，不然司机是不肯罢休的。
走进去，果然是卖很多金光闪闪的珠宝。里面很多服务员，很热心的招待我们。

一眼看完都是黄金，手工很差，价格更加不用讲了。
服务员介绍一些戒指给我。
WP假假说，款式太老土了，不适合我。
我就说我不能穿黄金，因为对我皮肤敏感。就假假问有没有白金或银子类的。。还好我身上都没戴什么首饰品。

看来他们是第一次遇到对黄金敏感的人吧。。突然间不知所措，不知道如何应付我。
也只好回答我，没有其它种类了。。

我心想还好没有从货柜拿出白金和银饰品。就看死他们只卖黄金饰品才要求其它的。

就这样他们也没办法，我们就快快离开了。

出来时，司机还打算带我们去别的地方呢。我们快快给他5BTH然后说我们累了想回酒店休息。

他还带着有点不甘愿的态度，收下我们的钱。

现在想回，觉得真的有惊无险。我们两个还真敢敢死上了贼车呢。原本出自于好奇心，但最后还是会出招骗人。骗人的招术真多。不醒目点都不行。

出外旅行，如果你以为英语就是国际语言，那你就大错特错了。
我们在苏梅岛旅行时，就遇到了些好气又好笑的事情。而且还连续在同样的地方遇到的。下篇就会和你们分享一下。

Something to do on this April...

After a long wait...finally it comes...yeah, APRIL...
I m going to Hatyai this Saturday for Songkran celebration and visit other places too. This time is go together with my mom, dad & sis..(and other ppl, cuz we join out local tour go there by bus).
Just cant wait to see how is Songkran ( click to see details bout Songkran)... But i just googled and found it start from 10-14 April, it can last for several days too....wow...and i heard they said it start to splashing water at the Hatyai custom checking part..!!! Is that TRUE? (I wonder the custom staff or police also wearing rain coat or they have water gun hiding behind them and shoot us when checking passport).
By the way, i also have another trip to Bangkok on 21st April. But i haven't book hotel yet. Still thinking where to stay. Either Sukhumvit or Pratunam.
I have stayed at both places b4. Sukhumvit also known as Arab Street. Lots of arab restaurant around and it is near to skytrain. Many nice hotels too. With Skytrain or you want to save $$ dun want to take taxi, you can just walk around 15-20 mins to the shopping mail nearest. And it is very safe one. You can visit Siam Paragon, Central World, MBK Mall.....

Pratunam is famous with surrounding wholesale clothing, fashion and lots of fashion stuff. There have many wholesale mall. I dunno how to describe it , but their wholesale mall is just can as big like QUEENSBAY MALL. Can you imagine that?All shop inside is wholesale clothing, bags, shoes, fashion stuffs, not just women stuff, also have men and children stuffs too....Ofcourse you can bargain for cheaper price. They are not selling cheap and low quality items. But with some good quality and close to designer pattern shoes, accessories, bags.... Argh, who care for branded stuff if you go in there?? The wholesale mall i like to visit most is Platinum Wholesale Mall. I have been shopping there start from 11am -7pm (Most store open from 11am-7.30pm)I prefer there because it is clean, big and wide. But shopping there you must have good memory or direction sense. As it have around 8 levels, and 2 side seperate. Each side have around 30-50 shops. So...ofcourse must have a very comfy shoes accompany you too. This time i will bring my Crocs-CLEO. Hope she is more comfy than Crocs-Patra.

But if you feel tired, you can go for foot massage too. It also have a foodcourt selling cheap n nice Thai food. Oh, i miss their pathai and tomyam soup...c how convenient.... BUT WAIT....
WAKE UP....

This time is not shopping trip, as i already booked another trip to Bangkok on August 29th, because that time is season sale! That one is fully shopping trip with mom and sis..wakeup!!...
Actually this time i want to visit big temple in Bangkok. They have few famous temple, but i always dont have a chance to visit. So this time thinking to visit Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew), Grand Palace and other Wat....

So , just forget about the shopping trip. But stay either place is just near to shopping mall or night market.....Actually, i have overspent last few months, have bought too many 'C' & NW purse. So in love with purse lately..And have few more trip coming. I think i have to sacrified my lunch meal, tea time and potatoes chips.....
Aiii, Women never need a reason to spend $, but need thousand reasons to ask them not to spend $$..........
But how can i travel Bangkok without shopping le.......

Finally have time to blog bout my CH trip. Visited CH last week on 14th March. Although i have been there more than N times. But this time, a little bit diff, my good friend Siao Yan, take us walk around CH, and visits some place that only local ppl know.

It takes around 2 n half hours, drive all way from BW to CH, follow the Simpang Pulai highway.

Siao Yan is CH local ppl, so she know where is the real place that worth to visit.

It is worth to visit this place because there is not just Cactus Valley to visit, but also can visit few farms around near CV, it is FREE...such as....

Organic Vege Farm

The first place we go before visit CV, because need to pass by here.

Vege is ready for sale, you can pick the fresh vege from here..

This organice vege farm is not very big, but is kind of good experience too. Note: After you visits here, you wont buy ORGANICE VEGE anymore!!

The CV ofcourse is not just to see cactus. Siao Yan, as our tour guide, bring us walk around from 1 level to another level.. if without her guide, i think we will get lost or missed some of the special plants. ..It is really big place....

After few hours here, SY intro us to another place. Rose garden at near "top of mountain"..( meaning is very far from town)
This place is only known by local ppl. Is a private rose garden, but still open for public to visit... Note that you must have a very very very good driving skills as the road to get in there is just very tiny small and only have 1 lane, best fit for Kancil or Myvi small size car go in...or bicycle better

But that time is not a good time to see roses...not so many roses around, but have a very good view to see Boh Tea garden

Note: Boh Tea Garden is the biggest tea garden in CH. You will see some small tea garden named as Cameron Valley, don't be fooled by this tea garden, it is strongly not recommended to visit this place! (Although it is FREE) Don't even try their tea, it taste just like very cheap chinese tea, blekkk....somemore it cost very expensive too. For a small tea pot of tea cost RM14 (no tea leaf inside, no refill too! Yea, the tea pot capacity is enough for 4 small cups of tea, if you want to drink more, buy another pot!) And also don't buy this brand name tea or products because it is not real tea from CH la, fake one!!...

It is not easy to go there, because without an expert driving skills, you will not dare to go in there by drive on your own, else you will cause lots of trouble or make the whole road traffic jam. The road to get in this tea farm is not that wide enough, only have 1 lane. So, traffic jam along the way to get in here is very common. But unfortunately, the weather is not good enough, it keep raining. Even we have arrived the parking place, but still not able to walk inside the shop and cafe because it keeps raining....:( Only can take some photos from far view....

To purchase the genuine Boh Tea products, it is recommended to purchase it here because they have variety of choices, some flavor is not for sale outside , or even at CH souvenier shop. And don't buy those chap pa lang brand tea, only the packing is attractive, but is not worth to buy it from CH. I think those chap pa lang brand available for sale at Tesco or Giant supermarket too.

By the way, it has a big souvenir shop named Green View Garden before we go in Brinchang (Located beside the road side, the second big shop, you can see it when you first coming in CH). They'r selling most of their own products and has a cafe inside, ofcourse can hand pick your own straberry 1kg cost RM40 if not mistaken..

Taste not so nice and not cheap too...

Actually did not try anything inside, because i know that strawberry from CH is NOT SWEET taste one. So we give up try any of the food here....Yan take us to another bakery shop which only known by their local ppl. Forgot the shop name, but they supply almost whole CH cafe cakes and other bakery stuffs.

Marble cheese cake, blueberry cheese tart and strawberry blueberry tart...

That day is sunday, so only have carrot cheese cake and few item above for sale. Not everyday have same flavor cake for sale, because they supply the cake or bread based on their MOOD. But the taste is really super yummy...especially the marble cheese cake..taste better than Secret Recipe's or Eden. The bottom part of marble cheese cake is like coffee flavor, but mixed with dark chocolate and some chocolate chips on top...dunno how to say it. I m big fan of bakery stuffs, especially cakes!..The blueberry cheese tart is last 2 only, no more left, it taste super yummy too. But Yan said the best selling cake is Chocolate Cake...ahh, no chance to try it because still not yet ready when we arrived :(...

By the way, we also visits Yan herself has a floral garden too, really big garden. It have many kind of plants too.

Finally, before back home ofcourse is shopping time. What did i bought from CH? Strawberry? Blek..boring stuff..you better buy from Tesco or Giant one imported strawberry taste better...

Sweet corn?? Note to all visitor that dont simply buy the sweet corn la, cuz mostly is from other places, and they said is from CH, top up the price already..better dont buy any lo...

The pure blueberry jam & Strawberry White Coffee....

I know that blueberry jam is not from CH too, but this one is more pure blueberry jam, have a lots of blueberry inside, not just jam...:P
and the Strawberry White Coffee. Never try before, so buy a pack to try it out...It taste so special, not too heavy strawberry smell. But not cheap, this box cost me RM15, the jam is RM7.90 price still acceptable..Already finished half bottle :P

But if you still insist to buy strawberry, fresh vege, flowers, fruit, or sweet corn. You can visit the pasar near the road side. A little far away from town, but there sell things more cheaper. Honestly say, it is mostly organised by Chinese ppl. You can buy strawberry at lelong price too. DONT buy anything at the pasar malam in town, that one is chop head pasar malam.

Lastly, thanks to Yan let us stay at her home overnight, so that we can save the accomodation expenses. and also treat us homemade steamboat, bring us to eat at the place that suit our taste buds to avoid chop head by those restaurants, and also be our tour guide to bring us visit some places that we never know too.

Note: I m going to Hatyai for Songkran celebration on this April 11, although is not the exact date, ( exact date is on 13th April) but heard they said is very fun and ppl there already start celebrating this festival until it ends, so excited!! But i lost my boarder pass la (We no need to take passport to go Hatyai). But give up searching for my boarder pass, instead of pay RM10 to redo my boarder pass, i still decided to use my passport. And also have another trip to Bangkok again same on both end of April and end of August....Opps.......almost forgot that i have a trip to Bali on mid of august and HK on Sept.I almost book the same date to HK & Bangkok, lucky i double check the date before i book the ticket. Wohoo...Ahh, life is beautiful :)

DIY酵素+桔子酸梅

上个星期六，心血来潮要自制酵素和桔子酸梅。自制酵素已经不是第一次了，但桔子酸梅还是第一次呢。先来介绍这次要做的水果酵素。

主要水果：葡萄，青苹果，柠檬，桔子

酸梅

制造酵素的蜜糖条

酵素制造法：除了水果，蜜糖条，还有玻璃瓶。
制造之前要注意：水果要洗清结，确定干了才可以开始做。然后刀和垫板都要干的。整个制造过程不可以有一滴水。成败就是看这个了。
先把柠檬皮削掉，白白的部分尽量去掉。。如果没去掉，做出来的酵素味道会苦。

去了皮的柠檬。。。

最低层先放柠檬，然后才把水果切片。水果尽量切越薄越好。有助于酵素的速度。
然后一层青苹果，葡萄，青苹果，再放葡萄。（水果持续可因个人喜好而排列）关键是柠檬和蜜糖条。放好了水果，可以把柠檬切片放在水果上面，然后才放蜜糖条。然后就这样排到最后要完成时，记得一定要把蜜糖条放在最上面。然后可以在加上蜜糖酱，淋满蜜糖条上面。整个自造过程不可以加水。

做好了，就把它摆放在阴凉的地方。如果要知道成不成功，就要等隔天，看看有没有发霉。

如果过了几天，上面一层没有黑色的霉，就代表成功了。发霉是白色的，如果有看到白白的一层，别担心，这代表它开始发酵啦。
要放多久才能饮用呢？最少要放两个星期。当然越久越好。喝的时候是有酒精的哦。。是不时很奇妙吧。

这个是已经成功了的。苹果和番茄味。
再来看看桔子酸梅。
制造桔子酸梅制造更容易。
材料是桔子+酸梅+白糖。把桔子中间切开，然后把酸梅塞在中间。然后摆放在瓶里是，在塞满白糖。

完成了。尽量把糖塞满啦

经过几天后，就变成这样啦。

糖会继续溶解。要放起码两个星期。得空可以自己试一试看。

Note: Hmm, y no P.Langkawi photo right...This island just very nearby me which i can go there every day with just an hour and have been there many times too. ..but cant recall any NICE beach from there in my mind so....except the black sand beach, so just imagine yrself the sand of the beach is black one, ok*:P

从Labuan去KK，可以说是真不容易。。坐了大概一个小时的Speed Boat。到了码头，很落后的码头。。。即使到了也不能立刻去KK。要在坐2个小时的车程，才能到KK Town。

KK当天的天气也有点小雨。Sarah的表哥带我们去动物园走走看看。。。
动物园？？？？！！！没错，是的。。动物园。
其实这个动物园有其它动物园没有的动物。。。

就这样的，过了一个下午。。。
很快的又到了晚餐时间。。。晚餐可丰富啦。。KK海产也是很丰富。

其中一盘是龙虾

第二天一早，我们有参加一个Rafting Tour。不过我没拍到什么照片啦。半天而已。。只能说是个很累的水上游戏啦。。

Rafting 回来，我们就去码头，要找去Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park 的便宜配套。
当然，这个时候，我们一定尽情地杀价啦。
整个配套包括来回，去三个大岛（整天）才RM25。时间自由控制。只要和船夫说好几点离开，他就会很准时在码头等你啦。我们选择去Manukan, Sapi和Mamutik岛。切记，酒店当然少不了有些配套啦。去游这些岛的配套要RM160不等，贵死人啦。当然包含一些不必要的东西啦。千万别傻傻的参加这些配套。直接去码头问，别忘了，杀价是我们的本性啦。

RM25 不包括Island Entrance Fee，去每个岛都要给啦。

这三个地方，算可以啦。。为什么我会这样说呢。。
其实觉得我们的国家，有很多漂亮的岛屿。但都缺乏保护。好可惜，真的好可惜
在海里潜水时，还看到塑胶袋，垃圾等等。其实看到这些东西一点都不奇怪啦。所谓的阳光，沙滩，是有啦。但这些地方没有让我有一种想呆在那里日光浴的感觉，只有想快点离开，眼不见为净的感觉。什么才是美丽的沙滩，我以后会再向大家介绍。

我们住的地方，每个星期天都有早市。他们的早市，有卖很多特别的东西哦。

超级便宜的珊瑚，一个珊瑚盘才RM1而已。。太便宜了。。我也买了几个回来。但是很重啊，带不多。贝壳比较贵点，但比起在澳洲卖的，还是便宜啦。所以有看中的，一定要买下来。而且可以杀价，嘻嘻。除了这些，还有很多道地的高点，美食等等。这个早市，值得走走啦。

总结：KK是值得一游，在那里消费便宜，如果有便宜的机票，是可以去那里看看。是个满relax的地方。但还是建议做飞机直接到达KK。

Labuan & Kota Kinabalu 2008 April

Labuan-KK之旅，是突然决定要去的。刚好AirAsia有优惠机票，小燕就邀我一起去，还有她的同事Sarah。我们是在08年四月尾去的。
我对Labuan的印象几乎是空白的。。。而且网上的资料也不足够（这是最气人的一点）。只知道它就像Langkawi，是免税岛。从Labuan可以乘船去Kota Kinabalu，Brunei，还有一个叫Menumbok的地方。只想去探个究竟而已，
这个旅程是4天3夜，第一天是在Labuan。

一直以来，我在旅游之前都喜欢在网上搜寻相关资料。但这次的住宿，行程等都是由小燕和Sarah包办的，所以我就省了很多力气啦。
我们抵达当天下午，因为是公共假期，几乎所有商店都关了。而且天气又有点阴暗，有下雨的征兆。Sarah 订的‘客栈’是背包客栈。非常的简陋。里面有一张大床，和一张小床，还有一间“阴”凉的冲凉房。不过我们只过一夜而已，没关系啦！。。不过客栈附近都是冷清清的。。。可能是假期吧，冷清得有点可怕。。
安顿好行李之后，我们就先去码头（就在我们住的对面街而已），去看明天要去KK的时间。因为船票是要在当天出发才买的，而且有好几班，决定了时间，我们就抱着好兴奋的心情打算到处走走。。
可是所有商店都关门（什么鬼地方！有生意都不做），才下午3点多而已，就闷到快要霉死了。。就决定去旅游质询中心看看有什么资料。。但。。
因为假期旅游质询中心（政府的）也没开~~·#%—*！
最后只好问人那里还有的走走看看，有人‘推荐’我们去International Sea Sport Complex。。所以我们也别无选择，只好走去。。

。。。。。。。。。。。。。。
原本有打算去它外面的Marine Park 玩玩，当到达询问中心时（在International Sea Sport Complex 里面，有很多间关于潜水等水上活动的询问中心），看到只有一间有人在里面，其它的都没营业。
既然来到了，我们也进去问问看。推门进去，只看到两个年轻的女孩。有一个很友善的，过来招待我们。我们就告诉她，有没有船可以去外面的Marine Park玩。
~*Marine Park包括Pulau Kuraman， Pulau Rusukan Kecil 和 Pulau Rusukan Besar*~
因为看资料介绍有很不错的Marine Park 在Labuan 外面。可是，那服务员告诉我们，现在不是时候去那边玩，因为是雨季。而且那边的Marine Park，不是一般只会游泳的人就可以去的，而是比较适合很专业会游泳的人去的。我们三个女生去太危险了。听了之后，我们还有点失望的，因为资料显示，那边又多漂亮等等。过后老板娘走进来了解情况后，就告诉我们，其实旅游资料，有点误导旅客。因为Labuan，nothing to see............它只不过是个Tax Free Zone Island. 老板娘真的是我们的贵人啦。给了我们很多宝贵的资料。

傍晚，我们租了一俩Proton Saga，在附近游车河，但老天有负有心人，好不容易租到车，却下了倾盆大雨。。。
不过。。。兜来兜去，Labuan，真的是没什么东东。。
除了一大堆度免税商店，两三间大酒店以外。。International Sea Sport Complex ，其他奇奇怪怪的牌坊等（根本都没什么看头）。。海鲜，就没什么了。。
到了晚上，根据贵人的指示，强烈推存我们去某个地方吃海鲜。那里真的很不错。可以自己选海鲜。我们点了几样海鲜和小菜。

这一餐，价格还算合理啦。吃饱后，当然是回去睡觉啦。因为明天一早还要乘船去KK。

First Time

First time blogging, hmm....how to start it? I have toooooooo many thing to write down...but...but...
which topic to start....i m just too excited to write down my experienced of my life and many things around me..
Actually I've planned to start my blog on the first Jan 2009..but..hehe...keep delaying until now..
So now finally i m tooo x 100 free lately..den decided to start my very first short n simple opening.
Hmm... i have been traveled around many countries these few years, so would like to share lots of traveling infor to all my friend.

Life is short, ya, really, maybe some ppl will think that it is too early for ppl aged like me to think about that. But somehow this is true and cruel too. So, i have decided to enjoy my life as possible when i can. So i have planned that every year MUST travel AT LEAST 3-4 times..Haha...
How to define Travel: As long as left my home, is that considered as TRAVEL??

Now i m using 2nd passport. The first one already date due. Still lots of pages blank one. This year, had planned few places to go, Australia, Bangkok, Bali, HK & Taiwan. So, the first place i went this year is early Jan 28 to Gold Coast. And the first custom chop in my passport also is Gold Coast custom chop.
Taiwan still yet to comfirm, but MUST go too. Cuz that is my plan to sponser my Mom go together with me..( why not go with daddy too, he said he went there before so dont want to join us, not i don't want to bring him along)
Loooks like is a busy year for me too.
